International forum for Well-Being

The city of Grenoble, member of TOGETHER, organized on June 6, 7 and 8, 2018 the International Forum for Well-Being (see https://bienvivre2018.org/en/home-page/). This was an opportunity to present different experiences of the application of SPIRAL (Mulhouse, Grenoble, Wallonia, Portugal) and to highlight their complementarities and possible sources of mutual inspiration. In addition, an assessment of SPIRAL's achievements was presented at the Scientific Symposium held during the forum (see the communication) and a practical animation of SPIRAL was carried out for interested participants. .

International Meetings of Territories of Coresponsiblity

Every 3 or 4 years, the TOGETHER Network organises an International Meeting of the Territories of Co-responsibility. Those meetings represent important moments in the network's life.

  • The 1st International Meeting of the Territories of Co-responsibility took place on the 25th of September 2009 in Mulhouse, with the support of this city and the Council of Europe. This meeting was the first step of the informal TOGETHER network. Few months after, the network beneficiated from the Urbact program with 8 pilot cities in 8 different countries.
  • The 2nd International Meeting of the Territories of Co-responsibility, which also took place in Mulhouse on the 22nd and the 23rd of November in 2012 was the end of the Urbact project. It led to an enlargement of the network to all territories developing SPIRAL, leading to the formal constitution of TOGETHER during the year 2013.
  • The 3rd International Meeting of the Territories of Co-responsibility took place in Braine L'Alleud on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of November 2016. It has marked a turning point for the CO-ACTE project. TOGETHER proposed to politics a roadmap beforehand debated largely with citizens and civil society. It has been as well an opportunity to enlarge partnerships with other networks that share similar goals, notably the one which participated in the CO-ACTE project.
  • Four years later, on 6 to 11 november of 2020, it is planned to organise the 4th International Meeting of Territories of Co-responsibility in Porto and Cape Verde, this time focusing on governance for the well-being of all through co-responsibility at two levels: 1) The territorial and inter-territorial level of governance; 2) The international level, including international solidarity.
